Child Aquatics - Guppies

This program is for students new to the water.

Level 1 - Basic understanding of an aquatic environment by gaining principles of motor techniques plus safety in entry and exit from pools. Gaining comfort as head is submerged under water.

Level 2 - Utilizing motor skills to move along the aquatic environment. Increasing comfort in submergence and slowly gaining independence as a swimmer.

Level 3 - Utilizing all motor skills to swim independently in the pool while practicing safety measurements and having gained complete comfort to submerge completely under water.

Child Aquatics - Penguins

This program is for students who have already learned basic survival skills.

The goal of this program is for the student to learn proper swimmers position in the water to increase their effectiveness and ability while swimming. This is the first step in learning all of the strokes and breathing techniques that all swimmers use.

Level 1 - Understanding proper streamline position to decrease drag and increase efficiency.

Level 2 - Understanding and utilizing motor skills of the hands and legs to increase resistance, increase motor ability and enhance swimming techniques.

Child Aquatics - Dolphins

This programs is for students already comfortable in the water, learning the four (4) basic strokes in swimming.

Level 1 - Applying arm circles and breathing while maintaining proper swimmers position. Learning proper timing for both freestyle and backstroke.

Level 2 - Learning Breaststroke and Butterfly kick and timing.

Adult Aquatics: Beginners

For beginner swimmers who are 18 years and older.

Level 1 -Learning how to feel comfortable in the water and survival skills.

Level 2 - Learning how to apply arm circles and breathing while in the proper position for both freestyle and backstroke.

Adult Aquatics - Technique

This program is for swimmers who already feel comfortable in the water and want to learn efficient techniques to increase their ability and decrease the amount of energy used in their swimming.

Level 1 - learn to perfect the details in order to increase efficiency while reducing the amount of energy used in both freestyle and backstroke.

Level 2 - Swimmers who already feel comfortable in the water learn to perfect the details for breaststroke and butterfly drills.

Adult Aquatics - Exercise Swimming

Swimmers who already feel comfortable in the water use swimming as a form of exercise focusing on increasing resistance and muscle mass by pulling against the resistance of water.
